Do I absolutely need snowflaps on my snowmobile?
Contrary to what some may believe, snowflaps aren't only designed to help you improve the look of your sled (though they do that very well). As it turns out, snowmobile snowflaps are pretty crucial to keeping your sled cool. It helps keep snow under the sled and hit the heat exchange that's located under your seat. When most of your rides are over pretty hard packed snow, it will always be really important to hit the snow in the right spot.
